Amy Miskelly with shoulder-length light brown hair, smiling, wearing a navy jumper shirt, standing in a modern, minimally decorated room.

Before launching elliott + miskelly, my background was in knitwear design, working with global brands.

I know first-hand what it takes to move from making for the love of it to building something that is viable, professionally run, and able to grow.

I’ve lived the tension between creative fulfilment and commercial reality and learned how to resolve it without losing either.

Through elliott + miskelly, I design brand identities and Squarespace websites for creative founders who want their business to work clearly, confidently, and sustainably.

Creative work still has to work as a business.

That balance doesn’t happen by accident.

Many of the creatives I work with have built their businesses around family life, choosing flexibility and autonomy over more traditional paths. That freedom comes with pressure less time, more responsibility, and little room for things that don’t pull their weight.

Enjoying the work matters. But it still has to support your life.

That’s why clarity matters.

A clear brand that reflects the quality of your work.
A well-structured website that explains your value properly.
Systems that support enquiries without constant effort.

Clarity makes it easier for the right people to understand what you do — and easier for you to run your business day to day.

Who I work with

I work with creative founders, designers, artist & makers who care deeply about what they’re building and want their business to reflect that care, clearly and confidently.

They know the quality of what they offer. What they’re looking for is clarity, in how their business shows up and how it supports them.

How I work

My role isn’t to apply a fixed style or formula. It’s to respond thoughtfully to the business and person in front of me.

I adapt my approach to suit different personalities and goals, whether the work needs to feel bold and playful, refined and minimal, or somewhere in between. The constant is calm, considered thinking and decisions that serve the business long-term.

If you’re building a creative business and want your brand and website to support it properly, the best place to start is a conversation.
